This is a blog about the Squirrel’s and Mr Pod’s Wood ownership aspirations. Follow their adventures as they take their Grand Idea (to buy a Wood somewhere in the British countryside) and transform it into reality. (At least that’s the plan.

The Squirrel is the writer and Mr Pod (her patient and long suffering partner, and minimalist) is the illustrator of this blog.  

There are three other characters who will inevitably make their own contributions to the blog from time to time:

Uncle Kuba: the king of the cats, who thinks that he is actually a dog

Poppy the Princess: a dainty princess cat, with a perfect pink nose, long whiskers and a delicate nature

Taxi Driver: Uncle Kuba’s devoted and loving niece, and baby of the family.
